I drew one for a client. It focuses on our instinctive human response: empathy, sorrow. Before that, I had to draw the political one. I just had to. That’s who I am.

You know, I heard we’re donating $4 million dollars, which is a whopping .000028% of our GDP. The UK is donating $32 million dollars and France is not only donating $14 million dollars, they’re also forgiving Haiti’s debt of $55 million dollars to them. The Canadian government is matching dollar for dollar every donation their citizens make. The EU, they’re pledging $575 million dollars for emergency and long term aid.
We’re the richest country on earth, and all we can give them is the equivalent of pocket change? Well, we are also sending our army… that’s the only thing we’re good at >.<
Yes, it’s an outrage. All of Haiti’s debt should be immediately forgiven.
