The bird deaths from wind turbines are vastly lower than the bird deaths from emissions of conventional power plants, the bird deaths from collisions with cars, or bird deaths from collisions with buildings. Enemies of clean power have seized on this topic and intentionally grossly distorted the issue. There were some installations (eg Altamont) that were poorly planned wrt migration paths. The impression the cartoon gives is wrong.
